1. Information we collect

ClipStash does not require registration and does not ask you to provide your name, email, or other personal information to use the service. The limited information involved is:

• Links you submit. The Instagram URL you paste is used only to fetch the media you requested. It is processed to complete your download and is not tied to your identity.
• Standard server logs. Like most websites, our server may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date/time of your request. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing problems.
• Cookies. See the "Cookies and advertising" section below.

2. Downloaded files are temporary

When you download a video or photo, the file is fetched to our server only long enough to hand it to your browser, then automatically deleted a short time later. We do not keep a library of the media you download, and we do not host or store Instagram content on our servers.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information above solely to operate and improve the service — delivering your requested download, keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, and understanding general usage so we can make the site better. We do not sell your personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ClipStash after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
