Many downloader apps stamp their own logo onto your video. ClipStash doesn't — it hands back the clean original file exactly as Instagram serves it, with no watermark added. Here's how.
Step 1 — Copy the video or reel link
In Instagram, tap the share arrow (✈️) under the video and choose “Copy link.”
Step 2 — Open ClipStash
Go to clipstash.app for videos or clipstash.app/reels for reels.
Step 3 — Paste and download
Paste the link and tap Download. What you get is the creator's original upload — no ClipStash logo, no overlay, no re-encoding.
A note on watermarks
ClipStash never adds a watermark. Keep in mind that if the creator burned their own watermark or username into the video before posting, that's part of the original file and can't be removed by any downloader.
Only public videos can be saved. Downloading for personal use is generally fine; re-posting someone else's content without credit or permission may break copyright rules.
